Manolo Blahnik Launches First Handbag Collection

MANOLO BLAHNIK HANDBAG LAUNCH

Iconic shoe designer Manolo Blahnik recently launched his first collection of handbags. The gorgeous collection was created with six styles of evening bags, in a rainbow of jewel tone hues. The bags designed in satin and crepe de chine, are embellished with encrusted Swarovski crystals. According to Blahnik, the inspiration for the embellishments came from Hangisi shoe buckles. "Every woman needs a jewel. Something very special and beautiful. There is nothing more stunning than a feminine hand holding a gem-like object." The clutches are simply fabulous!! The bejeweled bags will be available at Manolo Blahniks flagship store in London, and at the 31 West 54th Street store in New York City. Prices will range between $1,725 and $1,925.
