| The 2014 Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards were held on Monday, June 2, at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City. This event acknowledges excellence in fashion design and the outstanding contributions of individuals in the fashion industry and related arts. This event is considered the "Oscars" of the fashion industry. Rihanna, shown above, wore a sheer, sparkly gown by Adam Selman. The gown was designed with over 200,000 Swarovski crystals.
