GIVENCHY GLAMOUR
"His are the only clothes in which I am myself. He is far more than a couturier, he is a creator of personality," Hubert de Givenchy's muse Audrey Hepburn said of the designer.
French designer Hubert de Givenchy founded the luxury Givenchy design label in 1952. The fashion house includes everything from women and men's apparel, to accessories, to beauty products with makeup and fragrances. Givenchy was famous for dressing some of the most iconic celebrities such as Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, and Jackie Kennedy. In 1988, Givenchy sold his business to luxury conglomerate Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessey. He continued to design for seven more years and presented his final collection in 1995, and then retired. John Galliano and Alexander McQueen succeeded as head designers and in 2005, Riccardo Tisci was given the title of Creative Director for Givenchy Women's haute couture and ready-to-wear lines. In honor of the amazing Givenchy fashion label, I've put together some gorgeous and glamorous fabulous finds in apparel and accessories. Above is the Givenchy Shark-Lock Ankle Wrap Sandal, shown in black, and the Givenchy Show Line Embroidered Clutch Bag. Simply click on the image, or the description below, for more information!
