BARE SHOULDERS
Spring is just around the corner, and it's time to think about updating your wardrobe. We saw so many interesting trends on the runways for Spring 2016. I've broken it down with six trends straight from the runways. The first trend is bare shoulders, whether it be off the shoulder, halter, or cut-outs, this sexy look is on point for Spring. Above is the Proenza Schouler Long-Sleeve Halter-Neck Crop Top in white with ruffles and button cuffs. |

THE WIDE LEG PANT
It's time to give your skinnies a break and get ready for the wide leg trend! The Spring runways showed plenty of wide leg trousers. So much more comfortable and relaxed. The look is tailored and classic and it can be high waisted or low waisted. It's a perfect look for the office and can transition perfectly into the evening. Above are relaxed silhouette wide leg trousers from Altuzarra, shown with the Elbow-Patch Two-Button Blazer in Sunset. |

THE BLAZER REDEFINED
The blazer redefined is another top trend that we saw on the Spring runways. “The blazer returns as a tailored treasure in every collection: sharp shoulders paired with wide pants or giving structure to soft dressing. Spring’s blazer is the foundation that a woman’s wardrobe begins with.” — Ken Downing, Neiman Marcus fashion director. Above is the Veronica Beard Daytona Pinstriped Cutaway Blazer with a notched collar and double breasted-button front. The blazer is a perfect addition over a dress for the office, or also suitable paired with jeans or trousers for a casual night out. |

DENIM EVERYTHING
Denim, denim, and more denim. Another amazing trend for the Spring season. You will see denim shirts, jackets, dresses, skirts, swimwear, and don't forget shoes and handbags! It can be whitewashed, distressed, embellished or even patchwork. As long as it's denim, you are ready for Spring! Above is the embroidered cotton Kendall + Kylie Halter-Neck Eyelet Dress, shown in Tempest, with a halter neckline, fitted bodice, and pleated skirt. A perfect spring/summer dress for a day out or afternoon party.

LACE
Lace was antother big trend that we saw on the Spring runways. We're going to see romantic lace on everything from apparel, to handbags, to shoes. “The romanticism of spring is defined by the lavishing of lace on everything! Ready-to-wear, handbags, and shoes are touched by the grace of lace for spring. Ruffled, flounced, embroidered and appliquéd, Chantilly, crochet and macramé—lace puts pretty into a women’s wardrobe for the coming season.” — Ken Downing, Neiman Marcus fashion director. Above is a perfect exammple of this trend with the stunning Tadashi Shoji Long-Sleeve Mixed-Media Dress, shown in Ivory/Primrose. |
